Understanding Chemical Dilution and Cost Dilution Ratio Chart

The cost of chemical should not be based on sticker price, but the 1 to 1 = 128 oz. Per gallon of water
Ready To Use (RTU) price.
1 to 2 = 64 oz. Per gallon of water
CHEMICALS
Cost per gallon of RTU equals Price per gallon of con- 1 to 3 = 43 oz. Per gallon of water
centrate divided by how many gallons of RTU it makes. 1 to 4 = 32 oz. Per gallon of water
1 to 5 = 26 oz. Per gallon of water
EXAMPLE: If a gallon of Stunned concentrate costs $16.78. The 1 to 6 = 21 oz. Per gallon of water
directions say to add 8 ounces per gallon of water. This means that 1 to 7 = 18 oz. Per gallon of water
the dilution ratio (see the chart) is 1 to 16. In other words, you would 1 to 8 = 16 oz. Per gallon of water
add one gallon of Stunned to 16 gallons of water to make 17 gallons 1 to 9 = 14 oz. Per gallon of water
of RTU solution. 1 to 10 = 13 oz. Per gallon of water

One gallon of Stunned = $16.78 1 to 15 = 8.5 oz. Per gallon of water
